I recently purchased a 2003 quad cab. It’s fully loaded but didn’t come with the elusive overhead computer. After reading most of the postings. I was able to obtain an overhead computer on Ebay. I’m interested in hardwiring the overhead computer. The only option in the computer that I am interested in is the compass and outside temperature sensor. The computer I have has four wires attached to it. I know that one wire is the constant power, the second is ground and the third is the ignition power. I’m not sure what the forth is I’m assuming it the Outside temp reading. I got the compass to work but cant figure out how to get the outside temp to work. My truck came with a senor for outside temp. The senor has two wire going into it. How can I hardwire my over head computer so that my outside temp works. Also does anybody know what PCI bus stands for, and were can I find it in my truck. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

hey justin, looks good!

the only thing is cant believe is where you mounted your amp. i would put it under a seat. in plain view its just beggin to be stolen.

that would be a smash and grab job. they wouldnt even care if you had an alarm. smash the window, open the door, pry the amp off with a crow bar, and they are gone in 20 seconds.

thats why its nice to have dark windows...u cant see in unless is really bright out and your face is up against the window...its a pain to pry off cuz all 4 screws are in and then to pull apart from the wires is a pain cuz there isnt any play in the wire as it comes through the box...but i did think about that too...so hopefully it never happens...
