go to truckperformance.com click on lighting dow on the lower left side, thn click on the bulbs and youll be able to do the rest. they hve a few different sorts. How do you like thos krypton bulbs, I hear about everyone getting pulled over for blu bulbs but which are the ones that they have. I have sylvania bulbs currently and there is no tint of bule at all, just a little brighter. I want the deep blue colored onewithout sacrificing to much lighting. Do you know which brand these bulbs are that they are getting pulled over for.

I have heard from a friend of mine who works as a mechanic at a dodge dealership to be very carefull when switching to high wattage bulb. he has seen a few headlight housings where the bulbs have melted the plastic housing because they get alot hotter than stock wattage bulbs. once this happens you will never get another bulb in the socket and will have to replace your headlight.

Have been running 100/80's on my '95 Dak for several years now. No problems with lenses or overheating. However, did have to buy and install a new light switch (about $20.00 at your local aftermarket dealer) due to the higher current draw. Don't know what 130/100 will do though.

Thanks for the link Steve,
I was actually disappointed in them for what I paid. Instead of going to e-bay, I bought them from the company and spent more than I would have from e-bay.

but anyways, there not blue at all during the day and at night they're only blue if you look at them from far away. But I'll tell you what, when I get into another car and turn on the lights hehehe I can really tell the difference. They make stocks look sickly yellow. There an "ok" set, but I paid $35 for head lights and another $35 for the fogs plus shipping, I know, I got hosed over. oh and anther thing what I find is kinda cool. The light really reflects off signs and stuff so it does make it a bit easier to see things, but it also shines off of chrome bumpers which can be blinding.

About cops, I haven't had a problem at all, in fact, I haven't even had anyone flash me either (I man flash me with their lights hehe)
so I think I'll be ok in that sense. Our bulbs stay aimed the same, so if they're aimed right, they'll shine on the ground and not onto on coming traffic,
it's not so much how bright they are, but how they're aimed is what bothers other people.

Hey Steve,
I checked out the site, and they don't have our fog lights, I wouldn't buy a set unless they carry a set of matching fogs, it just won't look right.

here's a listing of the applications, I used a different set, I can tell you later

1997-2002 models use the 9007 bulb for the headlights.
1997-2000 models use the 893 series bulbs for the fog lights.
2001-2002 models use the 898 or 891 bulbs for the fog lights.
1997-2002 models use the 194 bulb for the parking lights.
1997-2002 models use the 3157 bulb for the turn signal lights.
1997-2002 models use the 3157 bulb for reverse/backup lights.

The deep colored blue look you want from your headlights Steve can be obtained by getting cheap "HID look" bulbs or the first-generation of Xenon bulbs that were only created to give the appearance of HID, but they offer terrible lighting characteristics. Check out www.midnightmoose.com for the best deals if you want awesome bulbs at a great price per set, $30 for both headlights and driving lamp bulbs. These are the next-generation Xenon's that are blue during the day and at night they are very bright white with a hint of blue tint. I would estimate at least 50% increased lighting over stock bulbs. I had to re-aim my headlights after installing due to blinding oncoming vehicles. My truck had been lifted for 6 months without adjusting headlights and never had one person flash me for bright lights, until I installed these bad-boys and then was reminded that my headlights are not properly aimed, needed to bring them down a few inches, lol.
