Roberto,
Definately go with the zex system. It is much
safer for our trucks than alot of the others. The
only problem is that with our trucks the throttle
voltage,(which the zex system uses to activate
itself), does not hit 4.5 volts which is the kick
on for the nitrous management unit. This
problem can be solved with a little electrical
know how and a garage opener battery (6 to
12 volts).Wire that to a button switch and youve
got yourself a sweet little activation system.
The vaccuum pressure is the other thing,
MAKE SURE YOU RUN THE LINESTO THE
TOP OF THE BACK WALL AND THEN OVER!
The lines are bothered by heat and may just
rupture if they slip and drop onto of lets say a
REALLY warm header(intake manifold on a
stock 3.9). do not go higher than the 65 shot
however. Zex makes optimum mixes of gas
and fuel the system is 99% of the time right
on. This means hp that is over the jetting
rating. At 65 hp the truck will run like its on the
85hp shot. Oh and the price, go on ebay there
are a couple of reputable sellers selling brand
new kits for about $470!
Good luck and be safe with it!(ie make sure
your truck is pointed straight before you it the
button)
