Hey D, when you got your doors shaved, how much did it cost just for the 2 doors only including door poppers and all that, and also how much labor are you looking at(i do not plan on installin this myself, prob get my body shop to do it)???

Drew:::poppers cost me $150 per door. the
labor involved in the shaving process
depends on the body shop. all of my labor
was included in one bill so I cant tell you how
much it cost for just the handles. it did only
take him one day to shave them though. the
only problem with the gen III daks is the line
that continues through the door. it's very
subtle, but once the handles are gone, its very
noticable. you have to make a custom plate
the exact size of the hole where the handle
was and weld it in. I'm guessing a body shop
would charge you anywhere from $650 and up
including labor and paint/materials
(depending on what kind of paint you use)

Excellent! That's all I wanted to know. It really cleans up the tailgate. I'm having a hood and valence painted soon. I'm going to have to check to see how much that would run me.
