What kind of rims do you guys have on your Daks? I have been looking for rims for my Dakota but our bolt pattern sucks. I don't want big chrome rims but something with a racing look, like a silver finish. Every time I find one that I like it doesnt come in a 6 lug. Can anyone give me some advice (besides using adapters)

Try doing a search for "new rims" and you'll find a few threads that list websites for rims.
There is a good one here under 'style'.
Some good places to look is
American racing, Eagle Alloys, Centerline Rims just to name a few.
Actually check out www.superbuytires.com they have a lot of rims, just don't know if you'd like them though.

18" TSW rims...never seen them on another truck...ever. Only on the TSW owned show Dakota and the Toyo Tires show Dakota...but those aren't your everyday Dakotas either...

hey bob w...I got the exact same setup as you (02 quadcab, 4.7 auto, 3.92 patriot blue, etc.) I haven't done any engine mods yet, I'm trying to save some money...I was hoping you could tell me which mods you did felt like they actually increased power, I've been reading besides ho cams a lot of the mods for the 4.7 are basically a waste of money

I've got 20x8.5" american racing Maxims. chrome. They are a good price. Really good price. Make sure you get them for the dodge dakota b/c you can either get it in 6x5.5 or 6x4.5. They are really nice inexpensive rims. check them out on e-bay. I got mine for an awesome deal.

My local guy quoted me $325 for 18". Is that a fair price?

R/T, i'm in the same situation as you. I want 18's but i'm not sure i want chrome. And DAMN these things are expensive!
I'm thinking about the American Racing Torque Thrust 18x8.5...but i really want to see them in person. They go for $250 a piece.

Is the bolt pattern the same for durango's as it is for dakota's? I got a 1999 Dodge Durango SLT. If anybody has any rims or euro tail lights or audio equiptment or neon underbody kits send me a message im interested. Thanks

Mnmelite, do you have pics of yours yet b/c i want to see how they'll look on a lowered black dakota, which mine will be very soon.
Vermonster, $325 for 18" is a lot more than I paid. i got 20s for about $300 apiece

anybody know or have any 20" that would fit a 1999 dodge durango slt? Im lookin for some like the Kmc- venom or the tezzen- zenna not ones like that, but that style with the wider/ thicker design. Thanks

Hey blackdak, I don't have my rims on yet because I have had some money problems and truck problems and can't afford tires now. About a month ago I blew my tranny and rearend b/c of a sh*tty lowering job...Something about the driveshaft being too long and jamming the trans. and the rearend. Anyway, I got my 20's for about the same price, $300 a peice plus shipping. I should be getting my rims put on in about 2 weeks.. I say "I should" alot but then something bad happens so i'll shut my mouth. But I have a 3/5 drop and when I get my 20's on i'll post pics.. Hey blackdak, make sure you wear those tires out first and get your moneys worth, then lower the truck and get low pro's, you'll probably have to wait about 6 months.. unless you just sell those tires on e-bay and go ahead and get new one's. This way you don't waste much money.
And David... The best thing to do is just keep searching and surfing the web.. It took me about a year to find some rims.. Yup. A year.. Good Luck

are there any perticular wheel/rim companies that make rims/wheels that fit a durango? im lookin for rims that look like the kmc-venom, or the Tezzen-zenna. Not specifically these rims, but ones that look like them.
