i'm a fan of just the running boards myself
funny - today at my college i saw an s10 that thought he was pimped out with his unpainted black plastic bumper cover on an all white truck. the truck was quite dirty too. all the kids i was with got a chuckle out of it.

Mine are acually running board/ ground effects. they go bumper to bumper. I always had the intention of selling them when they came with my truck. just aint into the look. Besides, more money to buy more toys that I like.
Oh... Unless your truck is a RC.... theyr useless.
