 Subject: Any shakers on '01 5.9L 4x4's out there?

I just got my shaker hood back from the painter today and decided to go ahead and install it. Come to find out my top radiator hose runs right where the shaker support bracket is supposed to go. After a couple of phone calls I found out I need a top radiator hose from a '98 5.9L. But I don't think the '98 had the filler cap in the hose. Do they?
It's a tight fit between the shaker scoop and the firewall (about 1/8"). Gonna have to relocate a vacuum line and do something about the breather line that runs to the factory airhat (it won't reach the K&N breather tub on the shaker.
Just curious ... am I the only one that's run into this? Or do I just have an "oddball" truck from the factory?
Also, if anyone can tell me if the '98 5.9 radiator hose has a filler cap in it ... that would be cooool!
