I have determined that i want to drop my truck 3/5" . Does anybody have any sugestions and and overall kit. And what prices they run. Also i am not sure what size rim and tire combination to get.

if you want to save money and keep a stock-like ride go with the western chassis kit. the kit will make your truck handle better and the 3/5 kit costs $620 with shocks.
if you want a stiffer ride and a little better handling, you will have to pay more for the hotchkis kit. to get full use of the performance get the sway bars ($500 for both, and also stiffens up the ride a bit more)
I have the western chassis kit and I'm VERRY happy with it.

Thanks for your reply, I am a rookie when it comes to lowering trucks. I think i am going to have to go with western chassis, since that was who i was looking at to begin with. Does this drop look ok with the stock 15s or do i have to get rims to?

any truck looks better with rims, but if you cant afford it (some rims these days cost more than a car) the 15's will work fine. you will have to get some new tires though. the stocks will rubb. get something like a 225/65/R15

I know what you mean. My original plan was to wait till I saved enough money to do it all at once but i am getting drop fever and want it done bad. Eventually I want to get some 18s.

I have a 98 dak club cab with the 318. I have installed the DJm 3" coils and 5" hangers, still running the stock 15" wheels but with 225/50/15 tires. I like it, sits pretty low. However with the smaller tires you screw up the milage of your truck for instance I was going 130 km/h down the freeway while my buddy beside me in his mustang was going 110 km/h acording to his speedo. The tires also gives you more torque to the ground, as I can smoke the tires through 3 gears and get chirps as I shift into 4th.
