I have a 97' dakota and i am only 16 so not a huge cash flow but i plan on putting 18" chrome rims on mine. Lowering it with a 3/5 drop and possibly a paint job. I wanted to see as many dakota with 18's ( chrome ) as i can. thanks

You've probably seen my Dak, but just in case you haven't. It's lowered 2/3 with 18x8 rims and 255/55/18 Nitto tires. There's more pics on my site.

Hey Chuck,
I really enjoyed seeing your truck at the Foxwoods meet. I doubt I'll see it next year. I leave in November for the Marine Corps. But I'll continue to uprgrade my truck no matter where ever I'll go. I am also interested in some 18's. I was thinking of a 3/5 drop but your 2/3 drop actually looks pretty good.

Best of luck in the Marines. Do you have any idea where you'll be stationed? In any case be sure to take care of your Dak. She looked fine at Foxwoods and I have an idea that given some time you're going to give me a run for my money. Besides, you and I have the best year made :-)

Thanks for the luck. I'll most likely be stationed in North Carolina. Even though it would be fun, hopefully I won't be stationed in Okinawa.
