Subject: where to find 18" rims??

Not too many people make rims to fit our trucks. This i know, but i'm having a really hard time trying to find a decent variety. Could you guys suggest some places that sell the 6" lug patterns in 18-20" sizes. your help would be perfect. thanx.

if you want a chrome rim, just go to a reputable rim shop, and ask for blanks. then have them custom drilled.

if you want billet, any billet rim company will make them to order, so that is the easiest way to do it. plus you can be sure to get the right amout of backspacing.

and the lug pattern is 6 on 4 1/2"

If you get a blank rim and have it drilled, would they have balancing issues?

ALL rims start out as blanks, then the holes are drilled for the specific lug pattern. the problem is, most rims are drilled for chevy's (because they sell about 100 sets of rims to every 1 set for a dakota). if you can get them before they are drilled and tell them the pattern you need, they can do it.

I have a set of brand new 18" Boyd Stingrays I am trying to get rid of. You can email me @ jfurbay@marksonrosenthal.com if you are interested. They will not fit if you have any more than a 2/3 drop though. Let me know.

Go to http://www.tirerack.com/ once you get on the site go to thr right and scroll down a bit till it says "Shop for wheels" then select make and year, and after that just follow the directions.
you should be able to see your truck with the rims on it just clik on the price of the rims to change them out, you could also change the color to do that go to the left side and just change the color:-) -[Alex]
