I picked up a set of draw-tite window visors (or as they are offically called "air deflectors". Anyways, with these window visors, they actually are attached into the window channel (or so I thought). Now if anyone has these visors and can actually get them to stay when you roll down your window please let me know.

installation sais to put the visor in the window channel, then to roll up your window for 24. I did as requested, after about 30 hours, I rolled down my window and visor came with it. Any one have these and can get them to stay? I really don't want to bring them back or get the ones that stick on the outside with 3M. I love the look of these, just want them to stay!

I was thinkin about puttin some 3M double sided tape on them to hold them into place..but i havent done it yet. maybe u should give that a shot. good luck

Yeah I think that is the only solution at this point. The only thing is, that the double sided tape has to really keep it in place, because I don't want to be driving down the highway, roll down the passenger window, and the visor come down with it. Anyways, ill give it a try and let you know if it holds up well.

I had a set of Drawtites for my 02 Quad, and ended up returning them. They did not fit right at all, and the one for the driver front side, made the window glass twist as it went up. I got a replacement set thru the store where I got them, but they were the same.

I placed an order for the Weathertech WeatherFlectors, and will have them this week. The Drawtites were cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

I have had the WeatherTecks on for about 5 months now , and not one prob. The only thing is , on the outside they look black , but from the inside , if the sunlight is in the right place, they can look purple. NOT all the time , just in certian lighting conditions. Also , they are so "Low profile" , you almost can't see 'em from the front or rear of the truck , but I like that. This could be because my truck is black though.

Well maybe someone has any ideas.

What I want is visors that go into the window channel but I also want to get them painted the same color as my truck? Could I do that with the weather techs? Could I just get some spray with my paint code and do it up?

I installed the Weathertech WeatherFlectors on Friday, and I really like them. They are so much better the the Drawtites, and fit better. On my truck I have tint on the front doors, and you can hardly tell that they are on it.

I highly recommend them.

Sorry I dodn't put this on the other post, but in regards to you wanting to paint them. I had originally thought of doing that, and I emailed WeatherTech, and asked them about doing that, and they said it could be done. They just advised me that my side vision would be obstructed, as you wouldn't be able to see through them.

Hope this helps.

Sean,

Thanks for the replies. I just got back from vacation so sorry my reply is a bit late.

I think im going to go ahead and buy the weather tech visors this week. I still do want to paint them, I just really don't have a clue how? Did they give you any suggestions?

Also, I plan on buying a set of gts clear headlight covers and plan to paint them also, so any help on how to paint them would help.
