I went with 20% film on the doors to match the factory tint on the quarter panel window. This will be your best bet.

I put 5% on my side windows and the quarter panels and rear and love the darkness. you can barly see in, still see out well during day, but takes getting used to seeing out at night.

I got mine done at Ziebart. It's 20% and looks great.

You may want to check your local laws and see what percent is illegal. Virtually all states or cities have a law that dictates the allowable degree of tint. If you exceed it, you could be subject to a ticket.
The Dealer that installed mine on my front doors would not match the real dark factory tint on my rear doors as it is illegal in Houston.
The idea is that the Police must be able to see the Driver's activity through the front side windows.

Kamaka I just had mine done the same 5% on the sides. I really looks nice. Illegal here in VA though. Good thing for power windows, I'll just have roll them down when I see the fuz.

I believe 35% is what is legal in most states. I have 20% on mine on all four doors, and 5% on the back over factory tint. Looks pretty sweet.

In Wisconsin the tint laws are 50% for the front sides and 35% for the rear windows. (trucks and SUVs are exempt for the 35% rear) There's a place here in Madison that will tint your front windows with 20%, but they make you sign a waiver since it is illegal.

yea the shop that did mine didn't give me a reciept. They just filed my info and if I had any problems to just come back and they would fix it.
