I don't have any pictures, but I have the APC carbon fiber tail lights on my 2000 Dakota CC 3.9L V6 Forest Green and it looks good. However, when I first got them, they didn't look right. I guess it's all about preference. I didn't get the regular chrome altezza tails because i don't have any chrome on my car.

they look very good on the darker colored
daks...I just cant warrant spending $160 on
tailights right now...hopefully they will get
cheaper soon.

I put them on my black '99 last week. They look great everyone says.My thinking is since I added the clear corners is that the front is real bright and the rear is dark when you view the truck from the side.
I'm still getting used to them but I may switch to the clears at some point.

I'm looking for a bed cover like that...is that a soft or hard cover and who makes it?

Oh ya, the carbon tail-lights and slick.

It's a Checkmate fiberglass tonneau. It's not too expensive, around $360 and that includes carpet lining inside. http://www.checkerpro.com/checkmate_fx.html

Thanks for the compliment. No matter how much or how little you do to your ride, it's an expression of your own individuality. I tried to make it a clean, tasteful look, almost a "stealth" look. It still amazes me how many peeps approach for a look. Makes all the work (and money) worth it, at least to me.

Mike, you can put the exhaust through the roll pan, but they will have to be bent to fit. I have a MBRP exhaust with a Pro-Finish roll pan, and the two were made to work together. Should be no problem for a muffler shop to bend the pipes though. I like your R/T very much, but if you're using the stock R/T tires and wheels, you may have a problem with rubbing if you lower it to what you have shown in the second pic. Sure would look great, though! I have about 2" of clearance in the front wheelwheels and a little more in the back, and I still have problems with rubbing over an unexpected big bump in the road with the Hotchkis kit and Bilstein shocks. Comes with the territory.

dawg, those are standard APC carbon fiber lights. Under the hood is bone-stock 5.9L R/T engine. Spent all my cash on exterior mods, but the engine work is next. Or maybe the interior. Or maybe a flame paint job. heh heh! These things are never really finished ('til you run out of money), are they!

Hey black dak... Did you have your tonneau painted? I can't tell. If you didn't, in person can you see the fibers of the cover? Do they stick out very much. I have seen close up picturesof them and I don't the look of the fibers but wasnt sure if they would stand out in real life.

johnwh --- Can anyone get those tails for 139.95? And how do I get ahold of Alex?

Thanks

Phil

The cover is smooth to the touch (you can't feel the fibers), and has a satin finish. The only time you can see the fibers is when you're up close and personal. I thought about painting, but it would take at least 4 very heavy coats of primer plus finish coats of paint with lots of sanding in between, so I'm just leaving it as it is for now. I wanted the flush mounted look, and there's not many choices out there.
