I was just curious if anyone had any idea's how to put these one without scratching the paint...
So far Iv tried:
The clips that came with the peices. (Sharp as F-ckin sharks teeth, ill bet those things are stiff enough to bite right through the plastic... Maybe some people dont care about it that much but I do. So those are out of the question)
Electircal Tape (Sticky mess)
Velcro (Works good and I might mess around with that alittle more but the velcro is so stiff that when im trying to push the grills in or out it the edges of the F'in grilles dig right through the clearcoat. I would try cutting the velcro strips down the middle but then Id be afriad they'ed vibrate lose...)
Iv got some other things in mind to try but, does anyone have any other suggestions for my situation?? Im about ready to just toss the damn things away. Right now its looking like I wasted a good 70 bucks :P.

i devised the following method for my custom grille and havent had any probs. Its been on for 3 months.
1. measure and mark where the 3 poles are when the grille is inserted.
2. find pieces of hose that fit tightly into the poles. ie) fuel line etc.
3. cut 3 even pieces and cable tie it to the mesh where you have marked it.
4. If it fits tightly enough then it should hold. But what i did is bought some GOOP (glue) and put a line of glue along the hose and then insert it it.
It should hold no problem.
