I want to put a bumper cover on my Dakota and I saw a pic of one I really like but I dont know what brand it is. It is on a yellow RT on the premier-automotive.net. The truck is under the GTS style hood pics. If anyone knows what brand it is or can tell me several brands of bumper covers I would appreciate it.

Looks like the Street Scene Gen II bumper cover. The same as I put on my truck. Stillen and Xenon also make good looking bumper covers.

I dont think that is it. The one on the yellow Dakota doesnt have the bar in the middle of the openning. I think it is this one http://www.suncoastcreations.com/2001/parts_truck_97-up_dakota_exterior.htm
Maybe it is the same one. Where did yall buys yours from and how much was it if you dont mind me asking. Does the street scene yall have actually cover the
Bumper or does it bolt in the place of the factory plastic piece. I would rather have one that covers the bumper.

I have a question for MarksQC. On that bumper cover from Stillen, does it have the molded foglight brackets on the bumper cover or do you have to fabricate some for the foglights? Please respond. Mine just came in and I haven't gotten it yet. Thanks

I can't say about the Stillen BC.

I have the the Street Scene Gen II BC. It did not have the molded brackets for the fog lights, just a hole. It was pretty easy to make a simple angle bracket to mount the lights.

What did you mount the brackets to? Did you weld it or how did you do it? Thanks

Stillen and streetscene I heard are now the same company! ???? The covers are a little different Mark and I have the SS Which has the bar on the bottom and the indention in the middle of the cover.I chose it because I have two tone paint and it provided a body line to paint with. The stillen does not have that line it is smooth.

As far as mounting foglights I dont know what you did Mark but I just Used some flat iron Bolted it to the bumper holes where the old valance attached and bent them a little to make the light stick in the hole and attached the light to the other side of the bar with a bolt.

Stillen's cover is just a bumper cover. It doesn't have any mounting brackets for fog lights as it just covers up the stock bumper. Really easy install. Just got mine back from the paint shop. It also has indentured marks on the inside of the cover where you can cut out the 3 vertical bars in the lower valance if you want. I just chopped em off. Looks cleaner!:) Hope that helps.

The last I heard, streetscene was baught out by wolf, the company that makes car bra's and covers.

Also don't forget wingswest, they also make a bumper cover. You can see one on my truck, www.geocities.com/dropt_98_dakota

there is a big pic half way down the page that is the wings west... the other pics are with the streetscene gen 1 lower valance

Craig, you just need to slot the bumper cover and slide it over the stock piece. Look at the backside of the Stillen and you should see some marks to use as a guide for the slotting.

Is there any place that you can buy the Stillen bumper cover online that is cheaper than www.stillen.com? ($275)
