I saw a website about making grille vents out of gutter covers, louvered.

Can someone get me back to that link?

I have thought of doing this mod to my 99 dak, but am concerned of about one thing. That is, what the gutter gaurd is made out of. It is Alumized Steel.

Will this stuff not fade, or possible even rust in a couple of years? I live in Canada and Aluminized Steel mufflers don't last to many winters up here. Won't the same thing happen to this gutter Gaurd to?

Anyone have any suggestions on where to get some of this stuff, but in Stainless Steel?

Thanks

You could just paint the grill and there shouldn't be a problem. But, if you want to pay up the a$$ then you can get the street scene grill, its anadized aluminum or chrome.

BLeagues: I did my grille last summer but before I put it on I sprayed it with clear coat. It held up to the Toronto winter pretty well. I think I'll be painting it black this summer, not that it looks bad, just for somthing to do. I got a white truck and am trying to stick to black and white, no chrome/silver.

I was looking for the site that gave instructions for the grille inserts that were hammered between two cut-out boards so the grill piece puffed out, or toward the front of the stock grill. any help with the original link is greatly appreciated.
