Also...they are paintable...but do you have to? Is there a black finish available?

WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE A MIRROR FOR THE 2001 DAKOTA. THE PLUG ON THE MIRROR IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PREVIOUS YEARS. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SHIP THOSE IN THE NEXT
60-90 DAYS. THE PART NUMBER IS 950-16630 FOR THE ELECTRIC MIRROR.PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR FURTHER UPDATES.

Petey, I dont have a picture , but , I do have a set that were on my 99 Dakota that I removed before I sold it. They are the non-power version and were only on for a month or so.Thet are gloss black and look brand new....still in the box if you or anyone else are interested in buying them off me.Let me know

Scott, I would love to help you out...but I am interested in them only for the power ones (my stock mirrors are manual). Just outta curiosity...how did they look on your truck? Did they look nice, or did they look sorta outta place?

Personally , I thought they looked too small , but I had a CC 4WD lifted up . They would probably look better on a 2WD. At the time I bought mine I didn`t know the elec. version plugged into the factory harness or I would have bought those as mine was elec. from factory also. It turned out O.K. though because I never moved them once I had them where I could see good.
Now I`m not sure if the elec. kind can be used if you didn`t already have the elec. ones stock.Anyone know for sure? Do they come with controls or do you need the factory adjustment part?

Thanks Scott. Them being to small was what I was afraid of...I have an 02 Club Cab 4x4. They do sell kits with the mirrors, wiring harness and switch...but if they look to small...I may look into other options.

I`m not sure how much they are new anymore.Does anyone know? I don`t want to ask to much for them , I was thinking around 30-35 $s. It`ll probably cost me 5-10 to ship them ,I`m guessing??

Scott--- My plans are to paint them, but it won't be for about a year, so it would be great if you could polish them up. I am collecting all my stuff now, bumper cover, new rollpan, mirrors, cowl, etc. so when I get my bodywork done next year I can just get everything painted at the same time. All I need now is your address so I can send you the money. You can email tht to my above stated email if that's good for you. I'll be checking this board a bit throughout the night too.
