Anyone have any pictures of custom window switches on a 2001-2002 Dak Club Cab. I want to put in aftermarket power windows but I am not sure where to mount the switches. I have seen tons of pics from pre-2001, but they changed the door in 2001 and I want to know what it would look like.

Any suggestions for placing would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

Maybe you should try to get a different door panel and use factory switches? Check with local junkyards just in case a 2001-2002 has been totaled, or else find the Mopar part # and get it cheap from John Mercedes at www.southeastrt.com. Would probably look a lot better and would increase resale value vs. what would obviously look like an aftermarket product.

Thanks...I appreciate it. Do you know if I got the stock door panels with stock switches...could I wire the switches into the aftermarket window kit?

Just wondering because I know that the stock parts are expensive and they use a lot of relays.

I would think you could use the stock switches on aftermarket windows, but check with the window kit manufacturer first.

I bought an electric window kit from www.a1electric.com and there were only two wires coming off the motor. When I touched the wires to the battery, the window would either go up or down depending on which wire touched which battery terminal.
