Has anyone had an Extang Saber Cover.
Here's a link:
http://www.accessconnect.com/extang.htm

I was wondering what the quality would be like.

Well... I have the Extang Classic cover and I must say... it's a dayuum good soft tonneau.

As far as the "buttonless" Saber cover... well, it's probably just as good... however I think I'd just trust my "buttons" just a bit more.

BTW, Extang is wonderful with customer service... if you have any problems they bend over backwards to help ya... I'd recommend them to anyone.

I've had no problems with my Extang Saber Tonneau. It's like a big Tupperware lid for your bed. =) It's a bit difficult to put on in cold weather, but considering how little I need to take it off, it's not a big deal to me. I like the snapless smooth look better than the snap look. I imagine that the tonneau will be easier to put on when the material stretches over time. Overall, I like it.

I got my Saber from the same place. Some of the other places have the same price, but they were going to charge for shipping too. Automotive Accessories has free shipping. They messed up my order by sending me a tonneau for a Ram. They trasposed a couple numbers in the part number. Make sure they're sending you the right one. =)

I saw that too, but I don't know. Doesn't matter to me since I don't foresee ever putting 600+ pounds on my tonneau cover anyway. =)

Hey MightyDak, how long did it take you to put it together? was it difficult or rather easy? and it's not scratching/rubbing where it attaches to your bed is it?

It was easy to install. It took me all of 20 minutes to put it on. It didn't scratch my bed because I installed bed caps before the tonneau. (Just a little added insurance against damage) The rails for the tonneau came with a soft foam strip on them to protect the paint.
