insert....I dont want to remove my bumper, I
saw the pics on how to do it with the two metal
strips mounted behind the vertical parts of the
opening, but havent had time to try it....

Looks good!

yup, your right. the lower one takes a bit of a different approach, an di got those pics about how to do it as well...i am gonna give her a go next week when i get some time. other than that, as long as this gutter stuff maintains its colour and shiny finish, i am happy with this look. i will post more pics of my truck soon, after i finish the next set of mods! Need those damn R/T rims and tires and i will be good for the summer!

shop and just stripped and fully customized a
2000 dak (it was black too, so I dont even
have to pain them) :)

depends on if my girl goes to bahamas or not,
I told her its only fair, she goes to bahamas, I

The front bumper is easy boys.
4 bolts on top,
carefully flip the bumper face down
(use something to protect the paint)
And watch those fog light wires.
Voila, everything else can stay attached, it
rubber, it bends.
From here you can mount your screening.
My 01 went smoothly.

Mickw82,
I purchased gutter guard stuff from HOME DEPOT. It was 5 bucks per sheet, comes in 36" length. Thank, I am really happy with the look, and will hopefully have the bumper done by next week...if all goes well...they seem like a real #!? to put on!

drill a hole in the latch, and attach a wire (with
zip ties) to the center vertical bar

I have a pic of mine...
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/p0intless/lst?.dir=/

I bought a brake cable and housing kit from a
bike store for like $3.99 and cut it to size. Zip
tied the housing to that center bar, so the
cable could run smoothly.

Heh... glad to see that folks are still seein' the benefits of the "$20 grill"...

Personally, mine has survived the Indiana Winter and still looks good on my truck... Yeah, it might be a little dull, but then again, I haven't directly washed it either...

But hey... for $20 I STILL think it looks better than the factory original... and far more cost effective than those $200+ grilles. LOL

Dakdar, where do you live?

Grill looks good. I have a couple of sheets of the gutter guard, but I fell in love with the billet look of the SRT-10. I'm waiting til I find one that resembles that, without too many horizontal bars.

i did the same thing......and i havent got the bottom in either its a lil harder to do.....and i had the wire on the latch to open the hood......dont do that it scratches the bottom of the grill i just use a small srewdriver and push the latch over....and its ALOT easier then trying to open it with the wire!
