I have Just bought my 2001 club cab Dakota about 6 mounths ago I am trying to customize it slowly.
I will not have much of a income for a few mounths due to going to school but i still want to do some stuff to my truck does anyone out there have any good cost effective customizing tips for my dakota any suggestions would be greatly apreaciated thanks tnt

drop the ride heighth, use 2" drop front springs, $90.00 and drop the rear 3" use drop blocks 25.00, if you go blocks use a 6 degree tapered shims 20.00,this helps to keep pinion angle alignment correct, or use Hotchkis 3" drop rear leaf springs, 250.00 I believe,which already has pinion angle built into the spring arch. this is what i used,, Hotchkis rear leafs, and 2" drop frnt coils, and a good quality gas shock for drop applications, all 4 shocks about 120.00. I later installed the RT 17x9 wheels and Nitto Nt450 tires 275x50x17 and WOW! what a sweet ride. Window tint.

Thanks for the suggestion i will think about it I live in Alberta Canada so the snow gets pretty deep.

That is if yours is a 4x2 if it is a 4x4 then dont drop it. But the first thing you will like is a Flowmaster Muffler series 50 delta flow, awsome and performance improvement, no noise inside cab.
