want to put a 3inch body lift on my QC 2001 to run 285 r16 0r 33s on my truck took it to truck place they said i would have to put a 5 inch susp lift on it. i thought the body lift would cover it and had been told by many it would. dont know what to do or to trust.

ok, I have a '99 CC 4x4 and a few months ago I put on 285/75/16's on my stock height dak with only minor trimming. I was getting some slight rubbing when I went over a bump around a corner though so I decided to put on a 3" body lift. Now I've done that and I have NO PROBLEMS at all!! Oh, and it looks a lot better!!

Thanks McLaren, I am not sure what I want to do to my truck next. I have done the intake, iat sensor mod, plugs, etc... all the small stuff. I know in the spring I'm going to do plug wires, cap & rotor, and maybe white face guages (Christmas??). I may just save some money for a bit. I will keep you posted. Thanks for the comments!! Do you have any pics of your truck?? If you do I'd like to see them, I'd like to see them when you do the lift and tires too!
