Oh, yeah! My truck is a 01 2wd with the 4.7 with a few mods here and there. I'm still debating on whether to regear or not. The 3.55's haven't been so bad, but I'm thinking of going to 4.10's or maybe even 4.56.

I think I am going to spring for the 4.10 gears after I put my lift and 33's on. I have the 3.55's now with my 31's, but I think the 33's will be to large for those. If you are running 31's, I would go with the 3.92 or 4.10 but not any higher. I think that would be plenty. But then again, I don't know much about gearing and am just going by what most have told me here on the site. Anyways, good luck with the truck and maybe I'll see around south Georgia some time.

I have 4.10 on my 4x2 with 33's and I love it. He$$ I can smoke my tires every now and then.

Hey UGAdawgsDak,
What tool box do you have in the bed of your truck? I have a quad cab and I can only seem to find to slim line series tool boxes. UWS now makes a wider tool box that fits the quad cabs. I believe it's TBS-63-A. I think this is the one I'm going to get. Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for the tool box? I want to make sure I'm getting a good price.

I have the regular 63" box from UWS for the dakota. I paid around $230 after tax. It actually fits pretty good in my opinion. And it definitely has more room than a slimline box. I just wish that the bed was a little longer on this truck...that's the only thing that I don't like about it.
