I have a 97 dakota 4x4 with a 3" PA body lift. I am currently running 31x10.5 tires on the stock 15x7 rims. My question is if I go with 16x8 rims with a 4.625 backspacing and 265/75/16 tires will they rub?

Does anyone have a setup similar to this? If you do plaese let me know of any problems you have had.

The rims will work fine.
The tires will too. The tires will be small. They are only 31x10.50 equivalents.

Get 285/75/16's or 305/70/16's
Those are both 33".

I just put some 265/75R16 BFGoodrich All-Terrains on my 1998 2x4 Dakota. Looks great, but now I'm looking for a 2" lift for the front. They rub whenever I try turning sharp.

BTW: Anyone with any ideas on a cheap fix for lifting my truck that 2", please shoot an email to me: joe_pool_is@yahoo.com

I have 265-70-17 COOPER MT on my 2wd dak. I have 2 inch coil spacers on the front which really lifted the front 3inches. but I would say with a 2inch fabtech lift and some trimmings a 265-65-16 will fit, and with a 3inch body lift they would fit with probably no trimming but I don't know that for sure.

and 4wheeldakota. the tires are 31.75-11.00. lol=p acorrding to calculators and coopers site.
