I'm about to get 2" longer coils from fabtech and read on here a while back that you can get engine specific taller coils from Doetsch. Nope, you can't. I was checking their site www.doetsch-shocks.com
They list the coils for the V8 and 4 cylinder/V6 separately. Well woopdy doo, they have the same part number. Lakers rule baby. Medvestinko you need to learn the west coast offense fool.

Thats a typo on the web site...on the phone they told me they had 2 different springs. One for 4 ^ cyl and one for 8.

Thanks for straightening that out. So will the engine specific coil make a difference? Does anyone know why Fabtech offers engine specific coils for 3" lifts and not 2"? I wonder how much extra weight the V8 adds compared to a 4 cylinder(I have the V8).
