Ive been wondering that myself... its nice to finaly know... Chris... i wouldnt go anybigger then 31x10.5's ive got those on my truck right now (2wd) and they rub a little bit... not enough for me to trim anything because its so slight but i wouldnt go bigger then that without a lift

I have a 3" body lift and will put in a leveling coil for 2" more soon. I am going to squeeze in the biggest tire possible. I hope that will be a 33" tire on the stock 16x8 rim like the 285/75/16.

sounds kewl... if they fit tell me... i should be getting my fabtech 2" lift in the mail any day now and ive been thinking about getting the 3" body lift...

Hey Wolf, Do you have your truck raised at all other than what it came stock?? I have been looking into going with 31" tires on the stock rims. Am I going to need to do trimming or get different rims?? I have a 00 Dakota CC 2wd.

naa im running stock... hardly any rubbing when i turn but when i hit a big bump the top of my tires hits the wheel well... but its keeping my bumpstops in good shape hehehe actualy its really not bad at all... and if you get tired of the sound just order the 2 inch fabtech lift like i just did and it should be fine... but i forgot what kind of rims i got from the factory but you can probably find a pic of them on my site....

and i have a 99 extended cab SLT so im guessing that our trucks are pretty much the same so they should work...

Yes they would be very close.. I think I can use most 97-01 parts on my truck.. I might be wrong, but that is what it appears to be whenever I go looking for parts.. Thanks fr the help Wolf..
