Well, I held off as long as I could waiting for a lift that would come with shocks. I installed my new custom length ES 9000's yesterday and what a difference over the stock shocks that were maxed out due to block lift and tbar crank. The biggest and most important thing for me is NO MORE side steps from my assend over sharp highway bumps which I had even when truck was stock. The ride is definately firmer, but not harsh as I had expected and less body lean around corners. For $125 shipped I couldn't be happier and it is probably the best functional mod I have added to my truck so far. The white shocks/red boots even look damn good too instead of the black stock shocks. Just wish I could keep them from getting all rusty like they always do:(

Where did you get the custom shocks from, what's the size/length? I planing to do the same set up on my truck, 1.5 block and crank t-bars.

Got the shocks from 4wheelparts.com, they only custom size in one inch increments, so I went with 1" lengthened from stock for both front and rear.

Hey 2THEXTRM, I asked 4 wheel parts about the es9000, cause I want to order them for my self, but they said that it is only compatible up to 98, is this true? cause your profile says you have a 2001, please let me know what is going on, thanks!!!
