Any of you that have already installed this lift, did you have any problems with the installation of this lift? if so what?

If you follow the directions provided with the kit, but look more at contagious's directions you should be fine installing it. I did it myself also and let me tell you if you have any mechanical ability, time and space do it yourself. It will save you a considerable amount of money. Be sure to try and get the alignment close because it will be way off. Also, the front sway bar sits way too low and it gets damaged by rocks rather quickly, so be sure to remove it before you hit the trail. I really like the lift and have no real big problems with it, just piddle anal retentiveness.

One very important thing to do before you start is label and set all parts aside by step, and get very acclimated with the directions and what you are doing. Also don't, and I mean don't expect the installation to go smooth. There will be problems, and don't get pissed off. Just read the directions on the net and from tuff country.

Any other questions just post them on the board.

The rear lift blocks ,that come with the kit, have the correct degree of "wedge" built in them.

I would suggest that you do yourself a favor and take the brackets for the bump stops and cut off the lower droop stops. Weld an extension on to the top of the bracket so that you have a bump stop/droop stop setup similar to the stock setup. Or you could do it the way I did and bounce those things off of enough rocks to bend them beyond repair, order new ones from TC and then make the mod.

UWGriz, do you have any pictures of this. If you do I would be interested in seeing what you did.

Thank you.
