Wow.. new pictures I'm impressed...

Now if only they would produce a quality product.

BTW notice the rear diff.. They beefed it up which is good but.. they killed the ground clearance when they did that.

factory ifs dakota/durango + 38s = tons of breakage

not to mention all the problems with the lifts themselves do a seach on this board for these 2 lifts. Its not good. If u wanna run more than 35s go with a solid axle swap.

That junk is nothing more the show, no one would take that seriously off-road. Stock axles, especially IFS and 35+" tires, you gotta be kidding me. If they're selling these kits, they should be charged with rape.

Hey, that Durango is about as top-heavy as Dolly Parton! Any body want to go Durango tipping? Whiplash Suspension disclaimer: Caution- Our Durango/Dakota lifts are show use ONLY! There are not intended for serious or even semi-serious off-roading or even dirt roads! We are not responsible for parts that fall off our kits. Do not drive in crosswinds or around curves! I think the Rancho kit is the only good kit for Gen III Dakotas and Durangos. We do need more choices though.

hey ya, here's a deal for ya. everyone keeps asking how it (the lift kit) would work on the dakota. and i'm bored enough with me dak, so here it is. find out if it would work on a 2wd dakota and if it doesn't find out if they can modify the kit to do so. within 2004 i will buy the kit if they can do it, and i will give ya a month by month or problem by problem update for one year. just to kill all the question and my boredom. deal?

Uhh yah im sure it would win alot of shows, if you can get it to the shows in one peice. Maybe if that thing did look sweet it would be a consideration, but it just looks likes crap, the frame is right in your face with a bunch of crap down beneath the chassis. I have a body lift, but my frame isnt lifted 10 inch off the ground smack dab in the middle of my face. I am going for the 6.5 Truckin, and nobody can tell me its worse than this lift

I have the 6.5 truckin sus lift on my 2000 Durango. I love the lift although it was definetly not a bolt on. It rides and handles great with 35's and no body lift. Everyone stops and stares. The only problem I have had is that every 3000 miles my steering sector slides down on the shaft causing it to bind a little. I'm trying to find a permanent fix.

This is an old post..but a 5.5inch with the 3in body lift will clear 35s..ive heard some clear with just the 5.5insusp cranked up a bit with a little trimming. 35's are going to put alot of extra strain on your drivetrain and all though. I wouldnt recommend it on a durango without a solid axle under it.

Yes, you will have minor rubbing, but most of that can be cut off. It's all plastic.
