Hey everyone, need some help. I have a 2001 4x4
extended cab SLT 4.7 I was wanting to isntall a 3 inch PA body lift. How big of tires can I run?
Somebody told me that I may have to cut my shroud to make it fit. And also told me that I would have to put a better braking system to stop the bigger tires.

From what I've heard you can go up to 33x12.5x15 with little or no trimming. I am probably going to go with the Pro Comp X/Terrains 33x12.5 on 15x10 Eagle Alloy 589's on mine. I have a 02 4x4 4.7 with 3" PA Lift - Keep you updated with results.

motoxer - with the 3" body lift very little to no trimming with the 33x12.5x15 XTerrains.

I installed a body lift on a 2000 4x4 with the 5.9 and we didn't have to do any trimming. Although we did just incase but we didn't have to.

33x12.50x15s or 305/70R16s on stock 8 inch wheels will get you there w/ no rubbing. 10 inch wheels will require cutting. Check out the 'Body Lift Resolve' thread
