ANyone ever heard of their company? They have a 2Wd lift for my 2002 Dakota, and was wondering if I should go with them, it is either between AIM or FABTECH, which one is better? Thanks!

I guess I'm biased... but Fabtech is one of the greatest (if not best) 2wd lift companies I've ever seen. They design most of their kits off the 2wd Baja Racing style trucks, so they are tried and true! Fabtech doesn't sell a kit untill it has been thouroughly tested and "bug free". I can't say that for a lot of lift companies out there! On top of all that... the price is usually about the same as the competition! Need I say more...

damn, I sound like a sales rep! LOL...

Yeah, I've heard of them... they are actually up the street from me in Phoenix! I guess I can't say anything BAD about them, I just preffer companies that I know and trust (Fabtect). I've never used any of AIMs products so I can't compare. They seem to have a great selection, though! I don't think you would have any problems with either company, usually you would know if they suck or not... bad things travel faster than good, ya know! Sorry I can't be of more help...

Hey tallquad thanks for the reply, its just that when I looked at their website, it said that they had a 1997-2003 4WD 3" suspension lift, and that was kind of suspicious to me because I thought no one came out with this lift yet? is this company lying?

AIM is a terrible comany(they are a part of Truckin' suspensions). I know some people with truckin's kits and they are very upset with them. I would go with Fabtech!

I find it hard to believe that they have one lift kit that fits 4x4s between 97-03... new designs came out in 99 or 00 so that wouldn't be likely. This is for a 2wd though, correct?? Or is "4WD" a typo? If its for the 2wds then its possible.

Is the price that much cheaper then Fabtech? Just wondering, cause I wouldn't waste my time if not!

you also need , ball joints , you can't use old ones you need shocks ( front and rear ) and you need add a leaf for the rear . so go with the fabtech , everybody here in so cal installs fabtech , no one installs aim , one is not good , and no waranty , you break it , that's it . also the liability insurance , that's why no one will use it ...................

I just realized what's going on here..

AIM = DEVIL!!

Truckin Suspension and AIM are the same company.
Read all about my posts and you'll know my views on this shady company that can't get anything right.

Go with the Fabtech lift.

AIM & Truckin Suspension are technacally differen't companies but they are the same. It's run by the same people in the same building.

It's all the same company...

Also depends on what you buy.. They have never made that lift before though so they are going to be guessing on the measurements just like they did with my lift.

Save the headach get the Fabtech lift.
