2 wheel drive + 3" = 4 wheel drive height

4 wheel drive + 3" = 33's
2 wheel drive + 6" = 33's

4 wheel drive + 8" = 35's pretty easily
2 wheel drive + 11" = 35's pretty easily

that should be right...hope it helps

Sorry, that really doesn't answer your question.

Basically...for you to fit 35's, a 4 wheel drive truck with 5-5.5" of lift would need to fit 35's.
The closest truck i can think of to that size is Knobbyman...with 4.5"...so Knobby, do u think with one more inch of clearance you could fit 35's?

If knobby can...you prbably can too, but i do think it would take probably 7" for 4X4 and 10" at least to clear 35's and still retain the ability to go off-raoding.

Arthur.. We'll know as soon as I get my truck out of the shop. I'm going to have a total of 6.5" of lift .. I think I'll measure after I get everything else tweaked. I think I'd have to slap a Body lift ontop of that to be able to clear 35's Because of the back side of the front fender wells. I'm sure I could trim enough off the front but the back side is where I'd be conserned about rubbing. I'll give some more acurite information when I get my truck out of the shop and I tweak my suspension.

Carl .. that lift is CRAP!

And there is a 10" lift out there.

The company that makes that lift is the same company that made the lift on my truck. Thing is.. They don't have anyone riding on that 9.5" lift... I can also GUARENTEE that you’re going to have to do some fancy drive train work.

The question was about 2WD Dakotas not 4WD. All of the above mentioned kits(suspension) are for 4x4s only.
Quad2Envy had 8.5 in. of lift by using a 3in. body lift , a 3-3.5 suspension lift and coil spring spacers (around 2 in.).
As to the orig. question ...You could probably fit 35s under it with some fender trimming if you never took it off the street , and you`d have to find the correct offset rims also.

That`s O.K. Knobby , I just didn`t want someone to chime in and start asking when Whiplash and T.C. started making lifts for the 2 byers.
BTW , did you get your most recent problem with your truck fixed?

About the 8.5" thing... The guy who used 2" spacers with 6" of lift (QUAD2NV) rubbed with 33's. He wasn't able to put his front fender flares on either. I have the same exact 6" set-up as him and I was able to keep my flares on without the spacers. SO... I'm not sure that 2" spacers really help to give you 2 more inches. From what I've seen, the Fabtech kit already fully extends the a-arms down which means two things: 1) it sucks for ride quality and 2) there is no more room for decompression, which means coil spacers only compress the springs more! Make sense??

I'm not trying to burst bubbles here, just giving info that might save time and money down the road! Of-course, if we are talking about another way to get 8.5" (or more like 8")... then disregaurd everything I just said! hehe...
