"Unless you modify the a arms, you will not be able to run the 3in spring and a 2.5in daystar spacer. One the steering cant handle it, the tie rod ends will bind, and the arms will be resting on the frame due to the insane angle on them. So unless you make a cradel system, you will not be able to get the 5.5in of lift on it. Sorry.

--hey joe. im in gainesville,fl and have a 88 reg cab 2wd dak with a 318 swap and 5sp. would the extra weight of the small block make me able to run that set up? i know the truck as it sits now, is way lower in the front. it still has the 4cyl. springs in it. i havnt even turned the bars to lift the front back up. no bottoming though :) but i would like to raise up this beast all the way arround. id like some 15x10's that stick out a lil bit and some really agressive looking tires. im not so worried abuot a huge tire size, but it seems the ones with the tread patterns i like start at 30". thanks.
tex
