San Juan Puerto Rico ( Home of the Miss Universe Contest) and a little Island Hopping to the US Virgin Islands and the BVI although sometimes projects do take me to South American....But I am originally from Big Bear Lake California...sorry maybe too much information.

Lived in San Luis Obispo for 7+ years. Mason -- just got back from a four day trip to Oceano over Memorial Weekend and had a blast! If you want to stay on the beach, it's best to go down in July, August, or September. Actually, one of the busiest weekends is Thanksgiving. May and June can be pretty windy which makes for an uncomfortable stay. Luckily, this past weekend was excellent.

Pismo is totally worth the drive if your really like to go through sand. Don't go on a holiday though...unless you don't mind almost 10,000 people on the dunes.
(No joke...dune capacity is 4,300 vehicles and it's full during the holidays!)
But it's good times...people around here are pretty cool, always ready to help you out.
Hey Sean...where are you from...SLO? What do u drive? We might be neighbors! I'm part of a 4 wheeling club and we are always looking for new guys to come along!

Thrash1, I have not been down to Hollister lately but i used to bring my 74 Dodge Ramcharger down there and would have a great time camping and riding the trails. Its pretty fun around there but alittle slow, i like to get moving over rough terrain. I was thinking about doing an easy camping weekend, ill put up a post for everybody with dates when i get somthing planned.
