To the guys who have cranked their T-Bars for an inch of height on a 2000+ Dak, what tools did it take? I looked at mine (I think) and can't quite figure it out. Is there a cap or something that has to come off first?

Any details are appreciated...

I think I used a 24mm socket w/1/2 drive. 6" extension helps, but I got by w/o it. Make sure you measure both sides of the truck and bring it up gradually. I raised mine 1" a few weeks ago. Pretty easy job.

Did you have to jack the front up under the crossmember to lighten the load, or just crank 'em while it was on the ground?

Thanks again...

I'd jack it up alittle bit just to make it easier.. but you can do it with out that.

I jacked it...don't know if you have to. I would recommend it to take the pressure off the suspension.

You have to adjust the torsion bars with the truck on the ground to get a acurate measurement, crank both sides a few turns and measure from the bottom ball joint to the ground, then go for a drive to get it settled and just keep doing this till you get it where you want it. I wouldnt go more than an 1 inch to 1-1/2
