I have a 2003 2wd dakota with stock suspension and all. Right now i am not sure of the tire size but i think it is 265-70-16. What is the biggest tire i could put on this rim without any mods. Trimming the fender well a little wont be a problem. Any help is appreciated.

Five months late... Of course, if the factory rims are 15 inch dia then the tires must also be for 15 inch dia rims. If it's (I think) width you're worried about, I've run 33x1050x15's on factory 15x8 rims (bought separately) for many years with no problems (1 1/4 inch of tread wider on BOTH sides of the rim, since the 1050 is the tread width). My 99 4x4 Dak has a Rancho 3 inch lift, (among many other mods), but there are many reasons why I wouldn't dare running tires any bigger, dia OR width.
