'99 Dakota Sport excab 4x4 V8 5.2 auto......got that 3" body lift on order,got my 33x12.5x15 Maxxis Bighorn tires...we will see what happens!!!

OK,put that 3" body lift under there,wasnt too bad to install other than removing the t-case shifter and welding in a rod.Had the Maxxis Bighorn tires mounted,I gained 5" of hieght so it is a good improvment in "stance",looks great with the black paint and the tint with the red lettering "Dakota Sport".

Been driving it a bit with the new 33x12.5 Maxxis,engine seems to be able to handle them fine.Have not had it off road yet.

OK,been couple months ago since I put the Maxxis on the Dakota,does really great in the sand and through lite mud.Sooner or later I will hit some real mud,then we will see!

Still havent really hit any nasty mud...my truck/engine is very clean,I hate to cover them with MUD!!! ;(

Hello...update,still driving the Dakota,kid (18 now)leaves for out of state school in 2.5 weeks,he sold the 38"x16.5" Ground Hawgs off his Dodge 1500 4x4,easy money...sure beats WORKIN!!Now it sits on my jack stands...perfect!!My Dakota is driving/running good,got a motorcycle to help with the gas pinch.

How is everyone doing!!I'm pretty good,lost 80lbs,down to 220!!My Dakota is doing pretty well,think I hear "noises" from front end...not sure.
