 Subject: Offroad Tires

My friend just put a pair of 31x12.5 procomp tires on his truck. They look sick and i was wondering if i could fit them under my 2000 4x4 dak. I dont really want to mess the torsion bars, but i guess if i have to i have to.

they should fit with out messing with your torsion bars but do you really want to , just think, you will go through more gas, your spedo will be off, and it will ride diffrent, but its a good idea, i was going to put the same size on my 95 dakota with the 318, but i decided not to for thoes reason i told you,

Actually the speedo will stay dead on because his truck came with 31s from the factory, also the mpg change will be unnoticeable for the same reason. Your 95 came with 235/75/15s from the factory, thats only a 29in tall tire thats why you noticed those changes.
They should fit no prob, they are just wider then your stock tires not taller. If they were taller and wider, then you may encounter some problems without a lift
