ok i have a 99 dakota ext cab with the 5.2 and im thinking about lifting it. my uncles are going to help me put the lift kit on if they are able to. it is only 2wd so im kind of only looking to lift it for appearence. i was wondering how hard it would be to install a 3in body lift and what mods would have to be done. i know a shop that sells the kit and installs it for about $600 bucks but id like to save the money if it is not that difficult to install myself. also there is a 2 or 3in kit on ebay for about a 100 bucks which is an add a leaf rear and a spacer front. i was wondering if anybody has heard of anybody buying one of these and if they are worth it. any help would be greatly appreciated.
