Subject: What size lift is needed for 2wd

I have a 03' club cab 2wd. I was thinkin about putting on a 3"BL along with 2" longer Front Coils. I was wonderin how 33x12:50 on stock 16" rims would work? What size tire does anyone recomend? Any pics and advice would be helpful.

I have an '04 2wd with a 3" Performance Accessories body lift and put on after market 17" rims and 285/60R17 Hankook tires without any rubbing what so ever. However my winter tire (oem 16" rims with Goodrich A/T 275/70R16, 31.2" - .6" taller than Hankooks) DO rub slightly on forward frame and on mud guards. So to answer your question, I don't think you'll fit 33"s without rubbing even with 2" coils. General consenses around these forums is 4X4's (already 3" taller than ours) with 3" body lift can just fit 33's, some report slight rubbing.

right now I have an '00 4x4 with a 3" BL and when I go to 33's I'm expecting minor rubbing unles I go to a different wheel. I dont see 33's working with a 2wd and only a BL. But you could always install the lift and go to the Tire place and see if it'll work.

Sorry dude but 33s ain't going to fit on a 2wd without 6-7in of total lift or fender trimming. If you are willing to trim your fenders then you should be able to fit them with the setup you are planning. My 99 4x4 has 33s (no rubbing at all) with the Rancho 3in lift, and like El Toro said mine started 3in or so taller then yours.
