I like the Coopers. I have been told by a few people that they do not have good tire wear. I do not see any problems with them. I only have about 12000 miles on them, but just like any off road tire I have had on any truck I lifted I do get a little feathering on the front but I think the key to keeping that under control is Rotating them. The tires are quieter than my BFG MTs an they look better! I have not tried them in the mud yet, Everything is frozen here in Wisconsin.

Hey Bigbrew, first thing, I wanna see pics when you are done. The lift is really easy. I did it by myself accept for the rear bumper, It is HEAVY so I had my wife climb under and put the bolts in. If you have a stick shift, you will need to weld a piece on the shifter. Automatic is a piece of cake, you will need to drill a few new holes for the lift for your spare tire. After you complete the lift than put your exhaust on, this ay you can tuck your tips up closer to the bumper. I did my exhaust in 2004 new and lifted it last year, needless to say, I had to redo the back half>
I just ordered the HALO Lights in black, fed-x says they will arrive on MONDAY!

Good luck
any more questions I will do what I can to help!
Can't wait to see it!

Thanx Maxbrew, I saw your maxima....nice. As far as the radiator hose, when it comes out of the radiator when it goes dow, that is where you cut it. make sure you cut it it the middle of the the hose so there is enough for you to clamp it on both sides. When the wether gets better here I am going to look at farm and fleet for a replacement hose off of another truck so I can eliminate the add in piece. I will list it here and on cardomain when I find one. Do you have your instructions for your lift? If Not I can mail you my old ones. Let me know, I will give you my e-mail. Save yourself some more time by modifying you spare tire mount and your Fan schroud.
Good Luck

I think you mean blocks on the rear axel? No. I was going to add blocks to the rear but I found that I could not get enough lift out of the front tortion bars being cranked to keep the truck level. Along with that, I really never liked blocks on lifts. I had an old 76 blazer with blocks and while I was mudding, I had a block slide out. I never recovered the block so I am not sure if it was my fault or the block broke. It was probably my fault but All of the other trucks I have lifted I made sure to have the springs replaced. Can't wait too see it.

lift blocks arent the best way to go but if you are only doing a 1" - 3" lift using them is not a problem... do not use any blocks higher then 3"... you will use a 3" block and add a leafs to gain the rest of the height. The reason people use blocks are because they are cheap, easy to install and dont stiffen the ride. Add a leafs or new stacks all together are stiff, more expensive and a little harder to install. Ive read stories about guys with blocks over like 5" slipping out or breaking or their leaf springs comming loose... so get anything up to a 3" block from a respected company and then do add a leafs for the rest of the height... make sure u have the appropriate shocks as to keep from hyperextending them...

got mine done today 3/27 went pretty well, the box turned out to be a bigger pain than the cab but it worked out ok, the steering adapter needed a little grinding to get it to fit, lower hose needed to be cut and lengthened, just put in a new one while i was at it, one ground had to be moved, didnt mess with the brake lines and they look fine.....still work...haha

Hey Wolf, I can't tell ya,,,,, or everyone would get them! I am kidding, the rims are made by Pro-Comp and they are pretty new! They have showed them in a lot of the 4x4 mags lately. I researched the he-- out of rims for my Dakota before I found some and trust me, there are not a lot of options if you want to keep the stock 16inch rims but they do come in more sizes. If you are interested in rims call the guy at 4x4Groupbuy.com. He is a guy that sells out of his home I think in NY and he had the best price out there. He usually orders direct from the manufacturer and has them drop shipped right to ya. DO ME A FAVOR, If you call him for rims, tell him I sent you from my sight. I do not make a dime off of the sale but I want him to know who sent him. He was a great guy and I am sure he will get you the best price!
If you forget, here is my sight
