Tryin to stuff 33's on there...is it possible one and two I keep hearing about Having to re-gear certain trucks... I need input before I start the project this weekend.

Going to a taller tire will efectively give you higher gearing - your v6 will feel as though its lost performance. That's why people go to lower gears with taller tires. You don't HAVE to change gearing, if you can live with lower performance; this is more of a preference kind of thing. Personally, I went with lower gearing with the stock tires - I like good performance...

I think to say "Your v-6 will feel as though its lost performance" is putting it politely, I think it would be more like those castrol oil commercials on TV where the cars dragging an anchor down the freeway,i got a 98 dak with a v-6 and its got a rack and tool boxes and it is totally gutless,i suppose if it were empty it would be ok at best but 33s on a v-6??? i would stick 31s on it, i would rather have power than anything else.

I guess I got a freak of an engine for the v6. Granted I dont have 33's on it but after a couple mods and my 3" BL and 32's I also only have the 3.55 rear diff. I dont really have an issue with power. Yea it would be nicer but nothing to really complain about. My truck weighs almost 4500lbs and I smoked a kid on my base in his 2wd reg cab v6. I can chirp the tires pretty good going into second. But as for the gearing, yea it's a prefrence thing. Not required. Only thing about goin to bigger tires is it's goin to throw your speedo off a couple MPH.
