Just ordered my Rough Country 3" BL and PA gap guards. Do I have to drill holes to mount the gap guards? How do they attach?

The gap gaurds that I installed on my 04 did reguire drilling holes in the inner fender. the came with plastic push clips that go in the holes afterwards. My gap gaurds were also marked for their location and they come with fairly simple instuctions.
