Hey Moser, I've read some of your posts, and you seem like a smart decent person. As a fellow Gen 2 Dakota owner I was wondering if you have any pics of your truck, I'd like to see it on those 33's.

Hey Paul. If you can give me 'till the end of the weekend I'll try my best to have some pictures available. I admit as a Certified Volvo Technician (I know, I know), I am better with the wrench than the computer. I am going to wash the truck (don't mind the tree rash), and have my brother help me post the pictures. I think the set up utilizing the Gen III 15X8" wheels will be of interest to some so the tire to fender clearance is better. I personnaly feel the rubbing on the frame is no big deal, but i can understand that some might feel that it is not acceptable. Also Paul, where abouts are you located. I'm in Ontario, Canada. Not too many beefy Dakota's running around my area. I'm getting sick of winching my buddies out of wet grass, hehe. Anyways, later

To be honest with you I never thought about putting my truck on car domain. If I had been taking pictures of my off-road excursions with my buddies trucks, I would probably have something really good to show. I think I will start doing just that, then put my truck on car domain. Thanks for the good idea. I need a place to post pictures of me pulling and winching my buddies out of the mud anyways. As far as the frame rubbing, it's not that bad. To put it into perspective, you know when you turn the wheel to full lock and stress the power steering pump, so you back off a bit. Well it starts to rub just before the "back off a bit" part. If I'm looking to turn as sharp as possible, I turn until I hear/feel the rubbing. Like I said before, the frame is smooth, so you're not going to chew up the tires. Didn't seem to effect the turning circle much, but I admit I have been out wheeling and found myself in tight situations where I turned the wheel full lock and just drove through the rubbing. Doesn't hurt anything, no worries. From what I've read Paul, you are looking at getting a body lift. If you decide on a similar set up as mine, I do suggest the body lift so you don't have to crank the torsion bars(the ride is too stiff and you lose your rebound suspension travel because the control arms are already pretty well on the droop bump stop). I have already ordered my 2" performance accessories body lift. So be sure to keep me posted on what you end up doing.
