I have a 4x2 2000 and I have heard a lot on the topic for the 3.92 and the 4.10 and even bigger gears. I have 32" tires and I cant find any gearing. I was thining on the 3.92 since I do a lot of driving all around. I off road a lil, but normally just to take my 4-wheeler out. I drive in town and on the highway most and I cant stand going up a hill on the highway only too feel the truck slow down and have extremly low rpm. I keep it in 4th gear a lot(oh yeah its a 5 speed). Any help at all will be great and locations on where I can find them. Price is not a factor. Thanks

What gears did your 6 banger come with ? I'm happy with 4.10 and the 4.7 running 31's; you must be bogging bad with 32's on a v6 if it came with the 3.55 like mine did. Might want to consider 4.56 with your combo.

Im not sure what gears the came with. I remember the dealer saying a pretty low number so it could be 3.55. Do u think 4.56 would be too much? I have heard it shoots the rpm's up for daily drivers at highway speeds.

Might want to hit the v6 board and see what those guys think about that combo for you. There's a couple guys with 4.7's happy with the 4.56's, but 4.7 loves to rev; I would have gone 4.56 if running any taller tires than my 31's.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm thinking I'm probably gonna go with some 4.10 on my 2000 4x4.
I didn't really notice a power loss from going to the 32" Tires on My V6 but I know the gears will be nice.

Just found out from my sgt. That the problem could be the cat. May have to get a new one...Comb could be blocking the air-way. Adam that looks pretty good to use on that site. I found another place that sells but it seems to be un heard of from others. If you get any more info on those gears hit me back
