I installed a 3 inch body lift and 2 inch coil spacer lift on my 05 4x4 quad cab. it looks good but needs stiffer struts/shocks to keep the front from feeling like a pogo stick. and with both lifts still only able to run 32 inch swampers. wish i still had my 99

Where did you get the lift parts from? I have an 04 that I just got and Im trying to find a way to do a body lift myself. U just crank the torsion bars in the front and blocks in the back on top of the leaf springs or what? I could tell you how to do just about anything for a motorcycle but not a truck- Sorry Im a newb

Talking about lifts... anyone know where I can find suspension lifts for an 04 Dakota? I think the newest year I've been able to find was an 02... furthermore, how much changed between 02 and 04? ALSO, any ideas on where to find some taillight guards for an 04? There's plenty for older models but so far it's been a rough time trying to find parts for my year.. wtf...

Hey Derek just use tailight covers, they work quite well, and usually the ones you can buy don't really hold up against real world wheeling.

I got the performance accesories body lift they make one for 04 as well. 05 switched to strut front end so there is no torsion bar but i did that on my 99 and gained about 2 inches of lift. i did not put the lift blocks in because i don't like the look with the tail way up in the air
