i own a 2001 dodge dakota with the 4.7L i can't seem to find hardly any lifts. i wold like to put an adjustable air lift suspension but if that don't work i want about a 9in suspension for it. tuff country make a 9in lift for the 99 dakota. but not for the 01 is there somrthing different between the two years it is the same body style.

Well first Tuff Country does not make a 9in lift for the 99s. Its a 5.5in lift. Truckin suspension/Whiplash/AIM industries used to/still does make a 9in lift that is a total piece of garbage not worthy of a non-running vehicle.

Second you said it. They are the same BODY STYLE. Not running gear. The main difference keeping the older year kits from working on the newer years is the change to rack-n-pinion steering in 2000.
