Hey Cody, Nobody wants to blast you for asking a question, but damn man, if you go to the bottom of each topic - you will see dozens of the same kind of questions. This is the first time I have put in my opinion in over 2 years of keeping up with this site. I have a 1995 Dakota, auto, V6 and everything I've done has no problems because I have done my homework - er- let everyone else experiment for me.
PLEASE, stop asking dumb, unresearched questions, it is a waist of time. If all you want are pictures, ask mommy to take you to a truck show...

Well the first issue with the lift is it is a looks only lift, not made for off orad use or abuse.

So now if you are still interested in a looks only lift then you will need to understand that each person who has installed them had to rig up something to make it fit or work.

Secondly most did not receive a full kit when it was shipped to them.

Third, some have had issuse from the front to rear, Drivelines, cross members and such.

Fourth, when the lift first came out it was garbage and the rep fro TS, Ian was not helpful nor was their customer service.

Sure they may have worked out some issues and I have seen only a few post back up the lift. BUt who are those people who are backing them and what do they do with their trucks? Are they for real backing up a crappy lift from the start? Do you see many post regarding the lift that are good? Do the search and read up on it if you have a month of spare time.

Bottom line is they are crap, maybe fixed up some but do you really want to take a chance with a know crappy lift? Are you a fabricator? Can you weld? Are you gonna pay some one to install it? Can they fabricate?

I’m starting to question what’s up with this Cody. It almost seems like there’s some 14 year old on here stirring up crap because the sequence of his posts don’t make sense.

This thread was started on 4/21/2005 asking questions about the lift, like he’s researching buying it, yet in another thread on 4/09/2005 titled “Truckin is a bad ass lift” (http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/raise/2974.html) he’s talking about how great it is on his truck. Then on 5/22/2005 he posted a thread titled “just to give you all an update” (http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/raise/3030.html) where he says he’s had the lift installed for 2 months and is not having any problems with it. That thread overlaps yet another thread started on 6/22/2005 “any ideas on front driveshaft?” (http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/raise/3030.html) where he’s talking about not being able to put the front drive shaft in because the angle is too steep.
If you follow the dates of his posts in all these threads, all his BS overlaps each other.

It just seems like some of these threads he doesn’t have the lift and others he does with varying degrees of success. Does he even have this lift or even a Dakota for that matter or is he just some 14 year old with internet access left unsupervised?
