hey everyone,

I just installed up my lift this past weekend. 3" Fabtech, 3" Pa body lift and 32" bf atko's. all on a 98 2wd cc. Now i have a couple questions. First off, when the truck is in reverse and i press the brakes i get a thud sound and the alighnment changes a little, it seems to start to pull to the left more. I havent had it aligned yet since fabtech recomends driving around 50 miles before an alignment is done. Is this at all normal? Will the alignment fix this noise problem?

thanks
john

Dude,
To your question, The truck rides alot more stiffer than it did with the stock suspension. It actually makes the truck feel sturdier. Cornering and such isn't really something i do to much with it be 8" taller overall than it was but it isn't that bad. But I wouldnt advise taking a 45 degree curve at 50 mph!!! Braking power has been rduced with the larger than stock wheels and tires but some powerstop pads and rotors should help a little with it. I already found out what my problem was with the suspension making noises and popping. Just remember get enough sleep and if you feel your mind wondering from sleep deprivation(?sp) STOP WORKING AND REST!!!!! I was at it for so long I didnt realize a few key nuts that i didn't torque to spec and they came loose :0 But all in all, It's a great combo and lift. Looks great.

John
