Besides QUAD2NV, who has or had the tallest 2wd? I have a reg cab and am preparing to lift mine using the same parts as QUAD2NV. Just curious if anyone else has done something simliar or bigger.

I've got a 2001 4x2 with the 4.7. All I have is 2 extra leafs in the back to support the 2000 lb pallets that I carry on a regular basis. It makes the truck about 4 inches higher in the back, but empty she rides like a lumber wagon. Was trying to get the front up last summer but never got around to it. Any suggestions?

You can use a 2" coil spring spacer. To go higher you would need the Fabtech, Doetsch Tech, or similiar components for the front. These all allow for a 3" lift. You can also combine the two for a 5" lift.

I have a lifted 2by . the highest you could go is 3 body 3 suspension . You could run spacers , but you won't get more lift , with the fabtech arms and springs the bump stop is about an 1" from the bucket so if you put the spacer you won't have any rebound travel and will ride like a tank and only get an inch of lift or less .

He used spacers in the front and shackles in the rear to achieve another 2" over the Fabtech and PA lifts. If you look at the truck, it looks level and actually has some room in the wheel wells to flex. I believe he used shorter bumpstops too.
